Serving Opportunities


Coffee and Refreshments

We tangibly demonstrate hospitality by offering high-quality coffee and refreshments to anyone who walks through the door. Food unites all cultures, ages, and races, and it is a way to love someone regardless of who they are or where they come from. When you serve refreshments with warmth and kindness, you do far more than provide food; you love and welcome people into the gathering of God’s people.

Time Commitment

One worship gathering, 2-3 times a month.


Greeting

As Jesus welcomes us as we are, so we welcome others into that same gospel fellowship. Greeters are the first impression of our church, welcoming and helping people know that we are glad to see them and worship with them. Greeters carry our culture of gospel-fueled hospitality.

Roles

  • Arrive early to pray as a team

  • Warmly welcome all who come on to the church property

  • Seek out newcomers to help them make connections and integrate into the church family

Time Commitment

One worship gathering, 2-3 times a month.


Set Up and Tear Down

Our Set Up and Tear Down team enables and facilitates gospel ministry by setting up, tearing down, opening and closing the campus every week. This team honors Christ in often unseen ways and serves the church by providing the infrastructure to enable Sunday worship. 

Roles

  • Set Up: Unlock the campus, set up canopies, tables, and signage

  • Tear Down: Lock up the campus, bring in canopies, tables, and signage

  • Pray for the worship gathering while serving

Time commitment

Either Set-up or Tear Down for one worship gathering, 2 times a month.


Safety Team

Coming to worship on a Sunday morning ought to be a safe, impactful, and welcoming experience. This team serves the church by ensuring the congregation’s basic safety by monitoring the parking lot and staying vigilant.

Roles

  • Monitor the church grounds during the worship service

  • Keep an eye out for the safety of the congregation

  • Be prepared to guide the congregation through an emergency situation

One worship gathering, 1-2 times a month.

Creative Team

God is the Master Creator. Just as he fashioned the world with beauty and creativity, our creative team produces aesthetic content including graphics, videos, social media content, and more. This team plays a crucial role in engaging those both inside and outside the church with high quality digital content.

Roles

  • Graphic Design: Create quality graphics for events, sermon series, and more.

  • Photography: Take pictures of Sunday mornings and other special events.

  • Videography: Produce promotional video content, recap videos, and ministry highlights.

  • Reels: Create fun and engaging instagram reels to build online community engagement.

Time Commitment

Times vary depending on the role or project.


Worship Team

Musical worship is one of the key ways God calls His people to praise Him. We sing because God is worthy of the affections of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. The worship team serves our congregation by leading the church to sing praises to our God.

Frequency depends on the instrument; Thursday night rehearsal and Sunday morning.


Prayer Team

We depend entirely on the God of the universe to move in our midst. Prayer is a means of demonstrating our need for God and bringing our brothers and sisters before the One with all authority and power.

Roles

  • Be willing and available to pray for anyone needing prayer during the 9am or 11am gathering.
